Since 1982, FOOD & WINE magazine has celebrated the height of good taste at our annual FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen.   Because a robust food and wine industry begins at the farm, FOOD & WINE is commemorating the 25th anniversary FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen by launching the Grow for Good campaign to raise $1 million for Farm to Table, a national initiative dedicated to supporting local farms and encouraging sustainable agriculture. 

With American farmland disappearing at a rate of two acres per minute to urban sprawl and poor food production and our food traveling on average 2,000 miles from the farm to our plate, we are concerned about the sustainability of our local food systems.  Through Grow for Good, FOOD & WINE, its partners and subscribers will change these negative trends by helping Farm to Table expand its programs and services throughout the U.S. and to build demand for locally-grown and harvested foods.
