The 2007 winners were: Most Patriotic – Aspen Elks Most Outrageous – JAS Aspen Most Humorous – Blazing Adventures Best Children’s – Basalt Girl Scouts Best Animal – (TIE) Cedar Ridge Drill Team & Maroon Bells Lodge
The floats were judged by community members including Paddy Allen, ACRA Board; Kip Hubbard, Historical Society; Steve Barwick, City of Aspen; Stan Hajenga, General Manager of Woodrun V; Rick Jones, ACRA Board.
The Grand Parade Marshal was Mead Metcalf, Owner of the Crystal Palace.

2007 Schedule of Events were:
8 a.m. Boogie’s Diner Buddy 5 Mile Race: Register early $30 per adult; after May 30th $40; day of $50 Kids 16 and under $15

10 a.m. Kids' Bicycle Decorating at Paepcke Park - For Kids Riding in the Parade (HELMETS MANDATORY)
10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Seventh Annual “America’s Birthday Carnival” Early Learning Center’s kids’ carnival in Paepcke Park featuring games, BBQ, silent auction, bake sale, and July 4th souvenirs. (Amy Guthrie, 970-429-2758)
NOON Old Fashioned Fourth of July PARADE down Main Street (Aspen Chamber Resort Association, 970-925-1940 – Parade Entry Forms)
1 p.m. AVSC 12th Annual Community Picnic, Koch Park BBQ, Kids Games, Live Entertainment and Beer Garden. $10 for members, $12 for non-members, $5 for children 10 and under (AVSC, Kim Vieira, 970-925-2720 x 104)
1:30 p.m. Aspen Art Museum’s 3rd Annual Fourth of July Picnic, Aspen Art Museum Complimentary picnic, innovative parade float by Nicolau Verguerio, Exhibitions by artists Nicole Wermers and AAM Distinguished Artist in Residence, Koo Jeong-A. (AAM, 970-925-8050)
2 p.m. Free Skating Exhibition – Aspen Summer Skate Fourth of July Exhibition at the Aspen Ice Garden (Jenny Nelson, 970-544-4116)
