Black Friday may have become as traditional as turkey for Americans on Thanksgiving, but in Aspen, the “holiday” holds little significance. Most locals and tourists in town for the weekend are focusing their attention on the world’s fastest female skiers who are in town for the Aspen Winternational, enjoying various events happening around town, or the famous après-ski scene in Aspen.
Aspen Winternational + Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert Series
Fans are invited to come out and watch the world’s fastest women skiers compete on Ajax this November at the Aspen Winternational. The weekend includes the first Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert Series of the season featuring Jamestown Revival. Added bonus: both events are free and open to the public!
Free Live Music at Belly Up from Na’an Stop
Get out on the town without breaking your wallet! Head to Belly Up for a free show from Na'an Stop, a Colorado band that has a classic reggae sound infused with hip-hop and dub influences, as well as hints of dirty rock and roll riffs. Show starts at 9:30 p.m.
The annual Thanksjibbing rail jam takes place at 2 p.m. in Snowmass Base Village. This year’s event also includes kids activities, Turkey Bowling, a restaurant leftover challenge, live music and more. For full details, click here.
