Curated by Alya Howe, The Salon has for the past five years made its home at Justice Snow's and is modeled after the award-winning performance series in Philadelphia which itself is modeled after the 19th Century European salons. These events feature a broad spectrum of artistic performance, including all types of music, spoken word, dance and multimedia works. Many of the pieces and ensembles are experimental and created specifically to suit the intimate atmosphere. Previous events have sold out multiple times and earned rave reviews from both audiences and performers. Performances include poet Alyssa Szczelina, drummer Zack Ritchie, cellist Sarah Graf, humorist Harry Baber and Stefano Da Fre's film "Tu Me Manques/You Are Missing From Me," presented by Krysia Carter Giez.
