Following its intensive training program with AMFS voice students to prepare them for professional ensemble singing, Seraphic Fire presents two recitals in Harris Concert Hall. Based in south Florida, the ensemble was nominated for two Grammy awards in 2012, making it the only classical ensemble to be nominated for two separate projects. Recognized for its “spellbinding, hypnotic” sound (South Florida Classical Review), the group brings top ensemble singers and instrumentalists from around the country to perform repertoire ranging from Gregorian chant and Baroque masterpieces, to Mahler and newly commissioned works by the country’s leading composers.
