Please join the Independence Pass Foundation and the Ute Mountaineer on Sunday, February 16, 2020, for the 8th annual Ski for the Pass!
The Ski for the Pass is a 7k classic ski tour and race beginning at the winter closure gate five miles east of Aspen up to the Lincoln Creek turnoff on Independence Pass.
In 2018, over 60 skiers participated in this Aspen Cup Race Series event, with 14-year-old Anders Weiss winning with a time of 41:28 minutes. The City of Aspen grooms the road for the event, and the event is hosted by the Ute Mountaineer as a benefit for the Independence Pass Foundation.
Registration is $15/individual and $30/family, and will open in January 2020 at the Ute Mountaineer
