Featuring Barry Bergdoll, Meyer Schapiro professor of art history at Columbia University and curator in the Department of Architecture and Design at the Museum of Modern Art. From 2007-2013, he served as the Philip Johnson Chief Curator of Architecture and Design for MoMA. Bergdoll’s broad interests center on architectural history, particularly that of France and Germany, and its ties to sociology, culture, and history. He is the author of several books including The Eiffel Tower, Mies in Berlin, and Bauhaus 1919-1933: Workshops for Modernity, which he co-wrote with Leah Dickerson.
