Aspen takes the après scene to new heights all winter long, and après in Aspen can be just as fun as a powder day on Ajax. With a variety of bars and restaurants to choose from, there is certainly a spot for everyone's taste.
The Wine Bar- The Little Nell
The Wine Bar is Aspen’s coziest après-ski address, recently refreshed with an Alpine chic décor and an array of seating arrangements. A DJ spins vinyl records, while dedicated service, a full menu of wines by the glass and bottle, craft cocktails, light bites, and more are available daily.
W Hotel Aspen
La Crêperie du Village
Après with a French flair at this local French Alpine Bistro. La Crêperie poses a more refined après-experience, serving up delicacies in a chalet setting. Enjoy hand-made cocktails, raqulette and fondue for a European take on your typical après scene.
Ajax Tavern
Experience the pinnacle of Aspen's après-ski scene at Ajax Tavern this winter. Taking place during our Festive Season (December 20 - January 5), Aspen Gay Ski Week (January 13-19) and winter/spring (February 10 - April 13), you can celebrate the season in style. Indulge in premium caviar service, exceptional wines, and our Ajax Tavern staples during your 2.5-hour dining experience. Thursday through Sunday, enjoy the added ambiance of live DJ entertainment. Choose between seating times of 12 pm or 2:15pm. Please note the applicable minimum spend and package inclusions per reservation, additional menu items are available for purchase.
J Bar at the Hotel Jerome
Head over to the historic J-Bar, where cowboys, miners, and the legendary Hunter S. Thompson used to gather for a pint. Still a lively classic, you can enjoy vintage cocktails in a western setting. Don't forget to try the legendary J-Bar Burger which has been described as "Aspen's Best Burger".
Curl and Cocktails in the Hotel Jerome courtyard! This winter season, gather together with friends and family at the Hotel Jerome Winter Garden to enjoy the sport of curling, the quirky icebound game with origins going back to early 16th century Scotland that is now a modern day Olympic sport. They're pairing signature Jerome beverages with a game of friendly competition to create the perfect winter experience to share through the season. Experienced players and newcomers alike can feel comfortable stepping onto the ice.
Aspen Art Museum
Join the AAM on select Saturdays during the Aspen ski season from 4-8 PM for their Après party at the Aspen Art Museum rooftop. Featuring cocktails from The Slippery Slope bar, snacks from Swedish Hill Aspen, and music by GOLDEN and other special guests.
MOLLIE Aspen
Warm up by the fire in MOLLIE's cozy lobby bar and restaurant or enjoy the heated outdoor terraces after a day on the slopes. The signature MOLLIE Toddy is the perfect après-ski treat.

No matter what the season, the Limelight calls their happiest hours of the day “après.” Offering an enticing selection of bites and beverages, the Lounge is the perfect place to unwind or reconnect after an exhilarating day. Make sure to stop by each Thursday through Sunday to catch some of Aspen’s favorite local bands live at the Lounge.
