ACES Educational Summer Camps
June 16th - August 15th
ACES is abuzz with children's voices and laughter during the summer months. From June through August, they offer fun and educational camps for kids at Hallam Lake in Aspen and Rock Bottom Ranch in Basalt. Featuring a mix of environmental science education and outdoor exploration, their week-long day camps make for an exciting and memorable summer!
Ajax Adventure Camp
June 9th - August 15th
Ajax Adventure Camp's mission is to inspire awesomeness! The camp philosophy is to give campers the freedom to craft their own adventure by choosing from up to 20 activity offerings each day. Depending on age, activities include biking, fishing, yoga, arts and crafts, and many more. Registration options for kids ages 7+ include punch passes (pick and choose what days throughout the summer you would like to attend) and optional full day trips that can be added to the punch pass. Kids ages 5-6 can be signed up for weekly junior camps, and for some extra adventure, sleepaway camp is also offered for ages 8-13.

Anderson Ranch Arts Center
June - August
Located in Snowmass Village, Anderson Ranch engages and inspires young artists with week-long workshops. A variety of offerings make these summer workshops both educational and fun.
Aspen Art Museum Summer Workshops
June 9th-27th
This summer, the Aspen Art Museum will offer three on-site workshops and additional off-site workshops in collaboration with ACES. Campers will enjoy exploring the world of art through workshops that feature nature, space, and art history.
Aspen City Camp
June 9th - August 12th
Aspen City Camp welcomes local Roaring Fork Valley families to their summer camp. Campers will attend a state-licensed program with qualified counselors. Children must be currently enrolled in school in the Roaring Fork Valley to participate.
Aspen Film Camps

July 21st-25th (Making Movie Magic Camp)
At Animation Film Camp and Making Movie Magic, kids will join fellow aspiring storytellers and filmmakers for an immersive dive into the world of film. During this week-long camp, with the guidance of professional filmmakers and teaching artists, students will collaborate with each other and gain valuable hands-on experience.
Aspen Science Center
June - August
The Aspen Science Center offers a series of summer camp sessions that teach campers critical thinking and STEM skills. With over 25 offerings, campers of all ages will enjoy participating in hands-on investigations and projects.
AVSC
June - August
AVSC offers a variety of summer on snow camps for young athletes. Offerings include a range of training and recreational activities, giving campers the chance to continue perfecting their skills during off-season.

Bob Johnson Hockey School
July 20th-25th
This week-long program features daily three hour on-ice sessions, lectures from highly experienced coaches, and some game play. Bob Johnson’s Hockey School provides an opportunity for kids to improve their skills by focusing on skating, positioning, stick handling, and more.

Challenge Aspen
July 7th-11th
This week-long music and dance intensive for people with disabilities of all ages celebrates and encourages individual expression of its participants through music and theater. The week culminates in an original theater production that is designed to allow for every actor/actress to shine. This popular program pairs 20-30 actors/actresses one-on-one with a volunteer for the entire week and draws a large crowd that fill the TACAW Center for the Arts year after year. Challenge Aspen offers year-round and summer specific experiences, including paddleboarding, hiking, adaptive cycling, and more.

Camp Aspen Snowmass
June 2nd - August 22nd
Nestled at the base of Snowmass, Camp Aspen Snowmass transforms the natural landscape into an outdoor classroom and dynamic playground. Here, expert counselors guide young adventurers through activities that spark curiosity and build confidence in the great outdoors. Single day, multi day, private and bike camps are available.
Camp Cozy Point
June 2nd - August 8th
Camp Cozy Point focuses on cultivating confident and responsible riders with a foundation in basic horsemanship. Campers gain a well-rounded education on and off the horse in skill specific group riding lessons and in the barn -- learning basic veterinary care and general care for the horses and equipment. Campers are grouped based on experience, making it fun and suitable for all abilities.

Camp Gan Izzy
June 30th - August 8th
Located at the Chabad Jewish Community Center, Camp Gan Izzy is packed with fun activities, new friends, an awesome staff, and incredible spirit. Campers will participate in swimming, mad science, master chef, and many other exciting activities.
Camp Smashbox
June 16th-August 8th
Located in Snowmass Village, Camp Smashbox is all about playing outside. Campers will enjoy a range of activities from crafty to active, small to big group, structured to chaos.
Gymnastics Summer Camp Aspen
July 14th-18th
Before Gold Gymnastics provides participants with the chance to improve their performance by focusing on strength building, flexibility, teamwork, motor skills, and determination. With practice and time with experienced coaches, campers of all abilities can learn gymnastics in a fun environment.
JAS Academy
June 16th-30th (Big Band Session)
July 28th – August 11th (Afro-Caribbean Big Band Session)
The highly-acclaimed JAS Academy Big Band Sessions, led by JAS Academy Artistic Director Christian McBride will now overlap the JAS June Experience, allowing attendees the opportunity to perform during the annual Aspen event and to have exposure to the many artists who will perform over the weekend.
The second sessions will be led by Guggenheim Fellowship Recipient, Etienne Charles, with a focus on “non-swing” styles of music – including Latin, music of South and Central America, Africa, and the Caribbean.

JAS Summer Camp “Street Horns Edition”
June 23th-27th
JAS’ Summer Camp consists of one-week sessions targeted toward applied techniques for intermediate, and advanced players. This summer, camp will be located at Carbondale Middle School and will focus on street horns. Camp will overlap with the 2025 JAS Academy. Camp participants will have the opportunity to share a class with advanced Jazz students and prodigious teachers!

Kidz Hike
June 30th – August 8th
Kidz Hike teaches children the fundamentals of hiking. Children will be instructed on how to safely interact with the outdoors by facilitating an understanding of their natural surroundings, introducing basic survival knowledge and techniques, demonstrating trail etiquette, and fostering respect and appreciation for the forces of mother nature.
Mountain Kids Academy

Mountain Kids Academy is a dynamic summer experience, offering a fun way to practice a variety of sports and skills. Through physical activities and learning experiences, campers will make new friends and enjoy spending time outside.
Theatre Aspen

Whether your child is new to performing, seasoned on the stage, looking to make new connections, or is brimming with creative ideas, Theatre Aspen’s Summer Camps are designed to bring out the best in young artists! With offerings ranging from one week skills & creativity based programs to five week fully produced shows, Theatre Aspen Education has the right fit for your camper this summer.
The Red Brick Arts
The Red Brick hosts week-long day camps where children explore different themes each week through a variety of mediums such as papier-mâché, ceramics, mosaic, painting, collage, and more! In addition to art making, campers will venture outside for a picnic, play in the park, and enjoy weekly field trips to experience and see art in Aspen.
