From warm spices to seasonal harvests, fall is the season of colors and comfort. Whether exploring town with a seasonal treat in hand, enjoying a fall inspired meal, or unwinding with a fall drink, enjoy the flavors of fall in downtown Aspen.
Pumpkin Spice Desserts
Meat and Cheese crafts exceptional dishes with locally sourced, sustainable ingredients, offering everything from soups and salads to sharable boards. While Meat and Cheese is best known for delicious dining, their Farm Shop offers a diverse array of gourmet ingredients and ready to eat products. For a taste of fall, check out the seasonal treats in the Farm Shop—spiced pumpkin white chocolate chip cookies, pumpkin spice chocolate candies, pumpkin spice chocolate truffles, and more.
Pumpkin Spiced Latte
Pumpkin spiced lattes are a classic fall treat and can be found all over town. Spring Café, Paradise Bakery, and Crepe Therapy Café, which also offers spiced apple cider, are a few of the cafés offering pumpkin spice lattes. If you're looking for a more unique fall latte, try the spiced brown sugar, apple, toasted marshmallow, or gingerbread flavors at Gorsuch Café. Whether admiring the colorful views or roaming the streets with a fall latte in hand, enjoy the season with a festival fall drink.
Baked Treats
Paradise Bakery, a local staple, is famous for their freshly baked goods. Start your morning off right with a pumpkin nut or cinnamon apple streusel muffin and save room for a giant ginger molasses cookie or seasonal ice cream. The Meadows Café, located at the Aspen Meadows Resort, offers a selection of light breakfast and lunch options. Try their seasonal apple caramel tart after a stroll on the nearby Rio Grande Trail.
Savory Fall Lunches
Looking for a savory taste of fall? Spring Café, open for breakfast and lunch, prioritizes nutrition and wellness, serving vegetarian dishes crafted with organic ingredients. Fall favorites, the butternut squash salad and roasted butternut squash and goat cheese quesadilla, are back on the menu, offering a healthier taste of fall.
Fall Cocktails
While the Aspen Brewing Company is known for crafting award-winning beers, the brewery also serves artisan pizzas and a selection of cocktails and wine. The spiced old fashioned adds fall flavors to a classic cocktail, blending 4 roses bourbon with clove, cinnamon, pepper, and ginger. Stranahan’s Whiskey Lodge offers a selection of seasonal cocktails, including Patent #307, a mix of Stranahan's Mountain Angel 10-year, herbal liqueur, and smoked maple syrup, and the Whiskey Morada, which blends Stranahan's Blue Peak, house made Chica Morada (purple corn, pineapple, cinnamon, cloves), and lime juice.
