Aspen Historical Society
Explore the historic side of Aspen. Visit the Aspen Historical Society’s two museums—the Wheeler/Stallard House and Holden/Marolt Mining & Ranching Museum—to experience the area's exciting past. Tour the ghost towns—Independence and Ashcroft—to go back in time. Or, take a walking or electric vehicle tour through town to see how the town evolved. Tour schedules vary by season and are available by appointment dependent on availability.
