Aspen Journalism is a local, nonprofit, and investigative journalism organization founded in Aspen, Colorado in January 2011. Our mission is to produce investigative journalism to the benefit of all the stakeholders in Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley. Our area of interest radiates outward from Aspen to include Pitkin, Eagle, and Garfield counties, the Roaring Fork Valley, the Roaring Fork River watershed, the Western Slope, the state of Colorado, and the Colorado River basin.
