Ute Mountaineer
Ute Mountaineer has been Aspen's locally owned outdoor specialty shop since 1977, equipping climbers, skiers, hikers, and adventurers of every level with the gear and guidance they need to get outside. Founded by Bob Wade and now owned by his daughter Maile, Ute Mountaineer is as rooted in this community as the mountains surrounding it. Our staff doesn't just sell gear, we know and use everything we carry firsthand. That knowledge is what sets us apart, and it's why Aspen has been trusting us for generations.
