The Aspen Sister Cities Committee is proud to announce the Celebration of the 60th Year of Friendship with Garmisch Partenkirchen, Germany. The event will take place September 24, 2026, at Paepcke Auditorium on the Aspen Institute Campus in Aspen, Colorado.
A full day of presentations and panel discussions of the many benefits of this long-standing relationship will be offered by elected officials and citizens of participating communities. Discussions will address issues facing our communities.
In addition, local organizations are planning events and activities during the week to celebrate this milestone in building peace and understanding in our communities.
