You can be the ultimate judge as you taste your way through a variety of delectable soups. Winning restaurant will receive the coveted Soupsköl soup pot and bragging rights!

At Soupsköl™, sustainability is always on the menu. Participating restaurants serve their creations using certified compostable cups, spoons, and napkins, ensuring every slurp supports waste diversion. Behind the scenes, kitchens follow Aspen’s Organic Waste Diversion Ordinance, separating food scraps and compostables to keep them out of landfills. This effort helps reduce methane emissions and turns waste back into nutrient-rich compost—from kitchen to soil, back to the planet. Soupsköl is a delicious example of how Aspen blends culinary creativity with climate-conscious action, all in line with its recognition as a Mountain IDEAL-certified sustainable destination.

From 2:00 - 6:00pm, the Wintersköl Beer Festival joins Soupsköl for a true "toast" to winter! Brought to you by ACRA and Radiate Events, gather for an evening of frosty festivities, live entertainment, and the unmistakable warmth that comes from celebrating the season with good company. Open to everyone; must be 21 years or older for beer/spirits tastings.
