Alfredo Rodriguez ‘Coral Way’
Globally acclaimed Cuban-born pianist and composer Alfredo Rodriguez blends Latin pop, timba, salsa, bachata, tango, reggaeton, and bolero into a vibrant modern sound. His new album Coral Way (out August 18 on Mack Avenue Records) reflects the multicultural energy of his Miami home and features guest artists Cimafunk and Alana Sinkëy.
Discovered by Quincy Jones after representing Cuba at the Montreux Jazz Festival, Rodriguez ultimately immigrated to the U.S. to pursue his career, later earning a Grammy nomination and performing on major stages worldwide. Known for his virtuosity, inventive arrangements, and viral Cuban-timba reinterpretations of popular songs, Rodriguez continues to tour internationally and champion cross-cultural musical connections.
