The America’s Uphill race is put on by the Ute Mountaineer and co-Sponsored by the City of Aspen with additional support from Aspen Skiing Company. The race begins at the base of Little Nell and climbs 3267 feet up the Aspen Mountain ski area finishing at the Sundeck Restaurant at an elevation of 11,212 feet. Two Categories/Gear Choices: Skis (Track, telemark, AT, BC) & Open (traction devices, snowshoes, running shoes, etc). Participation is limited to 200.
