Clip-In Cycling Camp
The 2026 experience is headlined by an elite roster of professionals, led by returning host Christian Vande Velde. Now in his 13th year with the camp, the former professional cyclist and current NBC Sports analyst brings his expertise from the pro circuit and his popularity as a Peloton instructor to the roads of Aspen. Joining Christian for the second year in a row is special guest Bob Roll. “Bobke” is a former professional cyclist who competed as a Tour de France racer (finishing the event three times) and mountain bike competitor. He’s now an author and analyst with NBC Sports’ cycling events and is perhaps best known for his colorful commentary during the Tour de France. Rounding out the trio is Travis McCabe, a veteran of the professional peloton who now serves as an athlete manager for Ventum, the camp's official bike sponsor. The leadership team is further bolstered by the presence of Ventum founder and CEO Diaa Nour.
As part of the camp experience, riders will have access to premium bikes from Ventum, engineered for performance at altitude and on Aspen’s most iconic routes.
Elevating the experience further, Platinum Sponsor The Feed will provide customized nutrition programming and on-course fuel for all riders. With a philosophy rooted in personalization, The Feed tailors each athlete’s plan to their sport, dietary preferences, and training goals—ensuring optimal performance throughout the week.
Each participant will also receive a thoughtfully curated gear package, including a Helly Hansen gear bag filled with three custom cycling jerseys and bibs from Pedal Mafia; a helmet and sunglasses from Sweet Protection; cycling socks; sports nutrition, hydration, and water bottles from The Feed; and sunscreen from Supergoop. Participants should plan to bring their own cycling shoes and pedals.
This year’s nonprofit partner, Aspen Valley Ski & Snowboard Club (AVSC), has been a cornerstone of the Roaring Fork Valley since 1937. As the region’s oldest and largest youth nonprofit, AVSC supports nearly 3,000 local athletes from preschool through 12th grade, fostering excellence in skiing and snowboarding while making winter sports accessible to all.
In true Little Nell fashion, the experience extends well beyond the ride. Exceptional culinary and wine programming—led by the hotel’s acclaimed teams—will unfold across Element 47, Ajax Tavern, The Wine Bar, The Board Room, the private Aspen Mountain Club at 11,212 feet, and a special off-site destination.
Whether participating as a rider or joining exclusively for the culinary festivities, Clip-In Cycling Camp offers a rare opportunity to engage with the sport at its highest level within a setting of absolute refinement.
