Exhibition Grand Opening & West End Market
Aspen in Excess: The 1980’s …Small Town. Global Hotspot
The Wheeler/Stallard Museum is the place to be on June 24th for the grand opening of the totally tubular history exhibition Aspen in Excess: The 1980s together with the first West End Market of the summer season! Come in your raddest ‘80’s attire for local artisan shopping, tours of the new exhibition, complimentary refreshments, and live music, including funky freak ‘80’s covers! The El Yaqui food truck will be onsite for patrons to purchase dinner or bring a picnic for an epic evening at the museum.
The newest exhibition at the Wheeler/Stallard Museum, Aspen In Excess: The 1980’s, takes visitors back in time to the era of bold ambitions, big hair, and even bigger personalities. Following the popular Decade by Decade: Aspen Revealed exhibition, this next chapter continues the story with the pivotal decade of blockbuster real estate deals, flashy fashion, small-town growing pains and global attention – in EXCESS!
West End Market is produced by Greg Shaw of Palladium Properties Aspen, welcoming the community to shop with local vendors at pop up markets year-round.
