Wester Garden Party & Hoedown at The Aspen Chapel

Aspen Chapel is very excited to once again host the annual Garden Party in the Aspen Chapel Gardens on Tuesday, August 11th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This beloved tradition will feature an experience that blends a special English garden party with a unique western hoedown!

Musicians from the Aspen Music Festival along with a western dance band will continue the tradition of “Englishness” with a fun hoe down – square dance style. English and “western” food delights, entertaining music, and time in the beautiful gardens and chapel will provide an event that is truly unique in Aspen.

The dedicated committee includes Bruce Merrifield, Tracy Merrifield, Kathryn Henderson, Louisa Goldsmith, Linda Sandell, Bobbi Teliska, Nicole Tarumianz, Linda Aibel and Maureen Callahan. This year’s Western Style Garden Party will be even more spectacular and will feature:

Wine Tasting and Wine Auction

Silent Auction with a variety of unique, local gifts, items, and services, including a special piece of art

Garden and Western Hat Competition

Beautiful English Teas, Cakes and Western Delights

Live music from the Aspen Music Festival

A western band and square dancing!

A play area, Face-painting and games for kids AND adults
