Meet the Team

Sarah first received a taste of the Aspen lifestyle on a college spring break and soon returned permanently to work and enjoy the glorious summer months and great skiing. After graduation from Appalachian State University, she spent six years gaining a wealth of knowledge in the hospitality industry at Hotel Jerome and The Ritz-Carlton Club, Aspen Highlands. Today, she leads the group sales initiatives as Senior Director of Business Development with the destination marketing department at the Aspen Chamber. Sarah is a Certified Incentive Specialist with Society for Incentive Travel Excellence and is working on her PDM from Destinations International.

Sarah lives the Aspen mind, body and spirit idea. Embodying this lifestyle, her perfect day in Aspen starts with a hike on the Hunter Creek loop followed by oatmeal pancakes for breakfast at Poppycocks. Afterwards, she will enjoy a quick stroll through the farmers’ market to pick-up Palisade peaches and locally sourced vegetables followed by a peruse of the downtown shops. In the afternoon, she will treat herself to a blended black and white latte from Ink Coffee. She will wrap up the evening with a picnic on the lawn at the Aspen Music Tent accompanied by a good book, bottle of wine and relaxation under the quaking Aspen leaves.

The Aspen way of life was introduced to Liz in the summer of 2009. Mother Nature’s allure drew her back to town where she worked in hospitality at The Gant and the Hotel Jerome following graduation from Michigan State University. Today, Liz is the Director of Sales for the destination marketing department at the Aspen Chamber.

An avid yogi, her perfect day in Aspen begins with a hot vinyasa flow class at Arjuna Yoga followed by breakfast at Jour de Fete. After satisfying her appetite, a short hike up to the Smuggler Observation Deck beckons before heading out to the Aspen Golf Course for a round of 18 holes. Round out the day with dinner at the Kenichi bar—she never turns down sushi, especially the yellowtail serrano and dynamo roll!

Nichole moved to Aspen in the summer of 2014 from New York and was planning on staying just a few months. Once she experienced one summer in the Rockies, she knew she would not be leaving anytime soon. With a background in hospitality, having worked at The Viceroy Snowmass and The St. Regis Aspen, Nichole was able to learn a great deal about the execution of hotel events for both corporate groups and weddings. Today, Nichole is the Sales and Marketing Coordinator for the destination marketing department at the Aspen Chamber. 

Nichole loves summers and believes it is the best season in Aspen. Nichols’s perfect day in Aspen would include hiking to the top of Aspen Mountain, followed by a mountain top yoga class. After downloading the gondola and a stop at Meat and Cheese she would enjoy a picnic at The John Denver Sanctuary. She would end the day with an ice cream cone from Paradise Bakery while watching the Aspen Festival Music School students perform on the paradise corner.
