Aspen Mountain Gondola

The peak of Aspen Mountain is 11,212 feet. Whether you are visiting in summer or winter a trip to the top of the mountain on the Silver Queen Gondola will include spectacular views and delicious food, and is a must while you are in town. 

Summer

In the summer, Aspen Mountain boasts the world's highest official disc golf course, kids' activities, yoga, and Sunday Bluegrass Concerts, amid miles of trails to bike and hike. Lunch is available for purchase at the Sundeck.

Daily June 16 - September 1

Hours of operation: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm with the last ride down at 4:30 pm.

Weekends

Memorial Day Weekend: May 24-26

Weekends: May 31-June 1, June 7-8, June 14-15

Weekends: September 5-7, September 12-14, September 19-21, September 26-28

3 days of gondola and chairlift rides (valid 3 of 7 days). Valid on Aspen Mountain's Silver Queen Gondola and Snowmass' Elk Camp Gondola. 

Summer Sightseeing Season Pass

Unlimited access through the 2025 summer season

Tickets may be purchased in advance online or when in town at the Aspen Mountain Ticket Office.

*Pets are allowed to ride in the Gondola cars marked with a paw print. Lift Operators will direct you to these cabins when loading.

Winter

While skiing in the winter you will ride the Gondola to the top of Aspen Mountain to access over 75 trails. If you aren't a skier you can still ride the Gondola, with the purchase of a "foot pass" sold at the ticket office, to enjoy lunch & sunshine at the Sundeck Restaurant. Another alternative to skiing is to snowshoe Richmond Ridge with Aspen Center for Environmental Studies who offer daily tours.

Uploading 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM, last ride down at 4:00 PM

*Sightseeing tickets will be limited during peak season dates: December 28- January 4, and February 15-16. Peak season uploading on Aspen Mountain's Silver Queen Gondola to begin at 1:30 pm.

Children 6 and under ride free

*Pets are not permitted to ride in the Gondola during the winter months.
