Aspen Chamber Resort Association Launches Resident Sentiment Study
Survey will run through Mid-March 2025
ASPEN, Colo. (Jan. 27, 2025) – Today the Aspen Chamber Resort Association (ACRA) kicked off its 2025 resident sentiment study with the launch of a community-wide survey. The survey aims to collect data and insights, opportunities and challenges from Aspen’s community members regarding their sentiment and perceptions of the tourism industry and its impact.
"This study, which is part of an ongoing series of feedback, as dictated by the Aspen Destination Management Plan (ADMP), helps us understand how the tourism industry is impacting the Aspen community and identify areas where we can improve. It also often highlights areas where we need to more effectively tell the story of the work we are already doing,” shared Eliza Voss, ACRA Vice President of Destination Marketing. “We are committed to sustaining Aspen as a destination that preserves the unique elements of our community for our residents while welcoming visitors from around the world.”
The survey will be conducted by Future Partners (formerly Destination Analysts) and will explore comparison points from the 2022-2023 resident sentiment study. The resident sentiment study is a key component of the Aspen Destination Management Plan (ADMP). The ADMP aims to enhance resiliency in the community while protecting the quality of life for Aspen residents and preserve the very reason people enjoy coming to Aspen. The three pillars identified by the plan are address visitor pressure, enhance the Aspen experience, and preserve small-town character.
Aspen residents, workers, and part-time residents are encouraged to complete the full survey here: https://aspenchamber.org/survey. These insights will inform ACRA’s short- and long-term marketing and management decisions. Results are expected to be published in summer 2025.
