Winter Storm Drops Eleven Inches of Snow on Aspen Snowmass

Up to 20 Inches in the Past Seven Days

ASPEN SNOWMASS, Colo.—Feb. 28, 2017— A winter storm swept across Colorado dropping up to 11 inches of new snow in the past twenty four hours at Aspen Snowmass. Aspen Mountain and Snowmass received seven inches, Buttermilk Mountain reported five inches and Aspen Highlands received 11 inches and the snow is still falling. In the past seven days, Aspen Snowmass has received up to 20 inches of new snow.  

Powder pancakes were handed out from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. at the Merry-Go-Round restaurant at Aspen Highlands as the mountain received over eight inches of new snow. For more information about Powder Pancakes, visit www.aspensnowmass.com/inside-aspen-snowmass/stories/powder-pancakes.
