Important Things to Consider When Planning your Aspen Wedding:
- I would recommend not having a wedding in Aspen from the end of April - May or from late October - early December
- These months are considered "mud-season". This is when a lot of hotels, restaurants and shops may be closed for off-season in Aspen and Snowmass.
- The weather is unpredictable during these times, and it can be a very muddy time of year. A lot of roads are either still closed or are closing at this time as well. For example, Independence Pass and Maroon Creek Road leading to the Maroon Bells would not be accessible during the "mud-seasons".
