In November 2022, Colorado passed The Natural Medicine Health Act (Proposition 122), which decriminalized select psychedelics and opened the doors for models of community healing. Aspen community member feedback collected during our campaign indicated that ongoing information was needed about the potential for healing, safety concerns, legal issues, and how to incorporate psychedelics into current medical and mental health practices. The Aspen Psychedelic Resource Center was created in response. APRC is currently working to connect Roaring Fork Valley residents to the resources they need to comprehend the scope of psychedelic medicines.
