Since 1991, Aspen Youth Center has been dedicated to providing a safe and supportive place where youth connect, learn, and grow during their out of school hours, free of charge. They do this by providing daily, staff led programs for local and visiting youth in 4th through 12th grade, Monday through Friday, 10am to 6pm during the school year and 9am to 6pm during the summer months. Activities include: Art Spot, Top Chef, Mad Science, Academic Support, Dodgeball, game room tournaments, and Outdoor Explore. Outdoor Explore includes rafting, rock climbing, horseback riding, flights and environmental education, and more. Their facility includes a game room with air hockey, ping pong, bumper pool, pool, and foosball, a media room, a full kitchen and a half sized basketball court. Cost is free but membership form must be filled out.
