Best Known For: Dance Aspen is for the city of Aspen and the greater Roaring Fork Community to have a thriving resident dance company that cultivates relationships among local artists and other arts organizations through the dedication and collaboration of high caliber performing arts.
Aspen’s newest and only resident dance company, DanceAspen was founded in 2021 amidst the global pandemic. Rising from the ashes, the dancers of Aspen Santa Fe Ballet came together to rebuild with the goal of continuing to bring high-caliber performing arts to the Roaring Fork Valley. Comprised of eight local dancers from around the globe, DanceAspen brings power, grace, physicality, and emotion to the stage in performances you won’t want to miss.
