
A conversation with Aspen native and historian Tim Willoughby, taped live for an archival oral history. From mayors and miners to land speculators and laborers, the Willoughby family has been a pillar of the Aspen community. One of his uncles owned the bar/sandwich shop that became the Red Onion. The Willoughby's were involved in the Highland Bavarian Corporation and the early ski-area planning on the backside of Aspen Mountain. In conversation with Mike Monroney
