Doors open at 2:00 p.m. for cookies and cocoa before a special presentation by the artists of DanceAspen on the history of The Nutcracker ballet, including a dance demonstration and brief Q+A. At 3:00 p.m., there will be a special screening of The Royal Ballet's The Nutcracker. Featuring Peter Wright’s much-loved production for The Royal Ballet, with gorgeous period designs by Julia Trevelyan Oman, this presentation keeps true to the spirit of this festive ballet classic, combining the thrill of the fairy tale with spectacular dancing. This breathtaking holiday classic will be screened in high-definition on the big screen, with world-class ballet, stunning visuals, and Tchaikovsky's iconic score.
