Young creators from Roaring Fork Valley middle schools work together in teams to sculpt snow in Anderson Ranch’s KIDSCULPT competition, part of Aspen’s annual Wintersköl festivities. Students work together to transform 4’x 4’x 4′ snow cubes into freestanding artistic sculptures. The completed sculptures are judged by a panel of independent community members based on overall artistry and creativity. For participating, each school receives a $100 stipend to be used for art supplies in the school’s art department.
