Aspen Community School Presents: Just a Little Grimm

Aspen Community School’s students, staff and parents return to the Wheeler Opera House Thursday, May 3rd and Friday, May 4th for the 38th year performing the spring musical which is the longest running tradition in the school. Performing at the Wheeler provides every single student an opportunity to perform on a professional stage as the production is famed for offering at least one speaking line to every student at the K-8 school.

Play director and ACS 7/8 teacher Garry Pfaffmann notes that “The play provides unique opportunities for students to pursue passions beyond the traditional academic practice. Students wanting to pursue art skills design and create sets; older students with an interest in technology run the lights and sound booths; students interested in fashion design help to create the costumes; and all students engage in the cooperative process of performing on stage.
