The Burlingame Early Childcare Center is featured in the newly published Creating the Regenerative School. Ford Architects, design architect for the project, wrote an international realized survey book of best practices in designing early childhood through 12th grade learning environments. The book features the unbuilt Aspen Burlingame project as an example of design for the full range of neurological, social, and physical development of children, in addition to climate responsibility. The Burlingame Early Childhood Education Center project is published as an example of architecture for wellness of users and responsibility to the broader environment. The project is an active City of Aspen project lead by Kids First. The architectural team includes Land+Shelter locally and Ford Architects.
