Please join Greg Lukianoff, President and CEO of the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE), along with FIRE's Pamela Paresky, comedian Karith Foster, and award-winning "Mother Goose & Grimm" cartoonist Mike Peters for dinner and a movie on Friday, July 7, 2017 in Aspen, Colorado. (Attire: Aspen Casual)
"Can We Take Joke?," directed by Ted Balaker and narrated by comedian Christina Pazsitzky, humorously examines the collision between comedy and outrage culture, and its unexpected roots in the modern college campus. Described as a "necessary analysis of outrage culture's relationship to comedy" by comedy giant Seth MacFarlane, the film features plenty of scandalous jokes and thoughtful commentary from comedy heavyweights including Adam Carolla, Gilbert Gottfried, Penn Jillette, Jim Norton, Lisa Lampanelli, Heather McDonald, and Karith Foster (who will be in attendance).
