Rossini's Semiramide returns to the Met for a rare appearance full of dazzling vocal fireworks. Maurizino Benini conducts an all-star cast including Angela Meade as the murderous Queen of Babylon who squares off in breathtaking duets with Arsace, sung by Elizabeth DeShong. This excellent cast is complete with Javier Camarena as Idreno, Ildar Abdrazakov as Assur, and Ryan Speedo Green as Oroe.
