Gramophone called her “the Heiftez of the flute.” Cleveland Classical said her “musical conviction and control are undisputable, her artistic vision and voice inspired.” She is also a 36th-generation Shaolin Fighting Monk. Together with Vienna Philharmonic principal harpist and AMFS artist-faculty member Anneleen Lenaerts, Marina Piccinini will offer a program of harp and flute masterpieces in styles as varied as Bach and Ravel, and featuring two world premieres as well.
