On the Rise with SHEL

In a new music scene that’s crowded, genre-twisting and attuned to mastery in live performance, SHEL is a must-know young band for anyone who wants to keep up with tomorrow’s greats. Sisters Eva, Hannah, Sarah and Liza Holbrook are twenty-something women, born in a five-year span and raised in a bohemian, art-loving family in Fort Collins, CO. Aspen audiences might remember SHEL from their celebrated performances at last year’s Mountainfilm in Aspen.

In addition to their November 18 concert, SHEL will be making a special appearance at the Limelight Hotel (355 S. Monarch Street, Aspen, CO.) on Friday, November 17 from 5:00-6:00 p.m. The free event “I’m A Weirdo, Are You A Weirdo Too?” is an evening of cocktails, conversation and happy hour with the ladies of SHEL and Aspen local Shirley Tipton.
