Give back to Aspen

Whether you're a long-time Aspen local or visiting for the first time, volunteering is engrained in Aspen's small-town character. Get your hands dirty in a nature restoration project, usher at a live performance, or take a shelter dog for a walk. There are ways for everyone to give back to the community.

Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers Restoration: Maroon Creek Wetlands
Join Aspen Chamber Resort Association and the Aspen community on Saturday, June 25, in returning to restore vegetation and encourage the success of native riparian plants in these wetlands.
Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers Trail Work: North Star Open Space
Join Aspen Chamber Resort Association and the Aspen community on Saturday, August 27 in a trail-rebuilding project on the James H. Smith Trail. Wetland trails, sometimes, must be moved to avoid trampling sensitive plants.
