Anderson Ranch Arts Center Presents the Annual Holiday Open House and Auctionette Curated by Skye Weinglass

Aspen/Snowmass, CO (November 16, 2022) — Anderson Ranch Arts Center, a premiere destination for art making and critical dialog in contemporary arts, is thrilled to once again welcome the community to campus for the annual Holiday Open House on December 8th. New this year will be a gallery exhibition and auctionette curated by local gallerist Skye Weinglass.

The open house is free to attend and will take place from 4:30-6:30 PM. Marking the end of the Fall Artist-in-Residence program, the public can tour the studios and view work created by the residents during their 10-week program. Artwork in the studios will be available for purchase. In addition, the ArtWorks Store will be filled with stocking stuffers and gifts at a variety of price points from our 2022 best-selling artists. There will be two pop-up artist booths (Julia Diaz with One Tidy Day and Shea McWilliams Jewelry) and limited edition, hand-crafted screen print items for sale. Complementary holiday gift wrapping will be offered for all purchases. A family-friendly evening, there will be crafts for all ages in the Children’s Building as well as a chance to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus and enjoy lots of holiday treats offered throughout campus.

New work by Anderson Ranch Artists-in-Residence will be available for purchase in the Patton-Malott Gallery carefully curated by Skye Weinglass. The show will be on display from November 22nd  through December 9th.

The community is invited to purchase tickets to attend a dinner at the Ranch followed by an auctionette featuring pieces sourced specifically for the event.

“We are interested in extending the vibrant atmosphere that our summer auctionette’s bring to this holiday gathering,” explained Andrea Jenkins Wallace, Vice President of Artistic Affairs. “In partnering with local gallerist and community advocate Skye Weinglass, we are able to curate a meaningful gallery show with the work of our Artists-in-Residence and source artwork from the generous and talented community of Ranch supporters. It is sure to be a festive and memorable night.”
Limited seating is available for dinner and the auctionette. Tickets can be purchased for $35 and $75 (VIP) on the Anderson Ranch Arts Center website- andersonranch.org.
