Aspen Snowmass Celebrates Spring with a Full Lineup of Events, Concerts and Competitions 

Announcing Bud Light Spring Jam music headliners Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, The California Honeydrops, The Dip and Cashed Out  

ASPEN SNOWMASS, Colo. – March 1, 2022  – As Aspen Snowmass heads into the final months of its 75th season, the resort proudly announces an exciting lineup of music and events to celebrate the spring season and sunny days ahead. Sunset skiing returns, a new two-day night skiing event will be introduced on Aspen Mountain, the Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert Series welcomes major music acts and the Bud Light Spring Jam is back for its 22nd year. 

The festivities will kick off this evening with a Mardi Gras celebration in Snowmass Base Village featuring Seattle-based funk and soul band The Dip. Music begins at 2:30 p.m., and The Dip take the stage at 3:30 p.m. The evening will be capped off by fireworks presented by the Town of Snowmass Village. 

After a year of hiatus, the Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert Series returns this year to rock Aspen Snowmass with free concerts from headliners including Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, The California Honeydrops, and The Dip. · March 1: The Dip, Snowmass Base Village 

· March 25: The California Honeydrops, Aspen Mountain Gondola Plaza 

· March 26: Sea Billies, Aspen Mountain Gondola Plaza 

· April 2: Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Downtown Aspen  

· April 8: Cash’d Out, Snowmass Base Village 

 Bud Light Spring Jam 

The 22nd- annual Bud Light Spring Jam festival will return March 25- April 3, bringing a week of competitions, downtown concerts and parties to Aspen Snowmass. This year’s calendar includes a host of new and returning on-mountain competitions and events including the Banked Slalom on Snowmass, Terrain Park Boot Camp, Bud Light Mountain Challenge, KickAspen Night Skiing and the Anon 4 MTN Mission, in which teams will compete across the four mountains of Aspen Snowmass in a scavenger hunt adventure race. The Spring Jam will also feature the Bud Light Hi-Fi Concert Series throughout March and April, and the Bud Light Core Party in the streets of downtown Aspen, with Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats performing a free concert. 

KickAspen Night Skiing, March 25-26 

Bud Light and Aspen Snowmass present KickAspen this season with two evenings of music and night skiing on Aspen Mountain. On March 25 and 26, the Little Nell Chair will be spinning from 7-10 p.m. for night skiing. This will be a ticketed event—for an honorary $7.50— and all proceeds will be donated to Aspen Skiing Company’s community employee-led non-profits, the Environment Foundation and Caring for Community Fund. Tickets will be on sale closer to the event and must be purchased ahead of time regardless of season pass status. 

 Sunset Skiing   

As the days grow longer, sunset skiing returns and Aspen Snowmass invites guests to take advantage of extended lift and restaurant hours for skiing, riding, and après gatherings complete with food and drink specials as well as live music at select, on-mountain locations. Skiing hours will be extended until 6:00 p.m., on-mountain restaurants will be open until 5:30 p.m., and Four Mountain Sports will be open until 7:00 p.m. for the following dates and locations: 

· Monday, March 14: Buttermilk  

· Friday, April 1: Aspen Mountain 

Aspen Snowmass to Host 2022 NASTAR National Championships and Offer Free Daily NASTAR Racing All Season Long  

Aspen Snowmass will host the 2022 NASTAR National Championships at Snowmass April 4-9, 2022. NASTAR is a youth feeder program for the U.S. Ski Team, and U.S. Ski Team athletes set the pace for NASTAR.  More than 50,000 racers will compete at 100 resorts across the country to qualify for a spot at the National Championships. Recreational racers compete within their age and ability group to earn a National Championship title and place in the final, Race of Champions. Aspen Snowmass will also offer free NASTAR racing to the public on its courses in both Aspen and Snowmass all season long.
