ASPEN WORDS ANNOUNCES PUBLIC EVENTS LINEUP FOR JUNE WRITERS CONFERENCE & LITERARY FESTIVAL
Best-selling author and former Los Angeles Times op-ed columnist Meghan Daum, award-winning writer-photographer-filmmaker Pete McBride, and Aspen Words Literary Prize Winner Tayari Jones among those scheduled to speak June 17-20 in Aspen
Aspen, CO (May 17, 2019) – Tickets and passes are on sale now for the
public events at the
Aspen Summer Words Writers Conference & Literary Festival (June 16-21). In addition to writing workshops and a readers retreat, the conference, founded in 1976, includes author panels in the afternoons and evenings that are open to the public. This year’s events lineup features Summer Words faculty – fiction writers

Writing and travel are both about discovery. Authors Laura Fraser and Pete McBride, whose work has taken them to far-flung corners of the planet, will share insights into finding and telling great stories about the unfamiliar, and cultivating a sense of curiosity and adventure as a reader and writer.
