Winter Music Recital Series - Feb. 16, Feb. 23, and March 16, 2023

The AMFS is pleased to announce the return of live music to Harris Concert Hall again this winter. Planned are three gorgeous evenings performed both by artists with deep Aspen roots and an exciting Harris Hall debut.

The celebrated Pacifica Quartet opens the series on February 16 with works by Shostakovich, Dvořák, and Shulamit Ran's Third String Quartet, featured on the ensemble's recent Grammy-winning album. 

Following his triumphant Aspen debut this past summer, the thrilling Russian pianist and winner of multiple international competitions, Alexander Malofeev, returns with a program of sonatas by Beethoven, Weinberg, and Rachmaninoff for his Harris Concert Hall debut on February 23.

Finally, AMFS alumna and longtime beloved performer Joyce Yang closes the Winter Music series on March 16 with a program of Romantic works by Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, and Stravinsky.
