The Annual Art Auction is open to the public and will be a fun day full of live music, children’s art activities, a picnic lunch and more as part of this art-infused experience. As part of the Aspen Art Fair, 74th Arts, in partnership with Aspen Film, will present the documentary TAKING VENICE at the Aspen Film Isis Theatre. TAKING VENICE uncovers the true story behind rumors that the U.S. government and a team of high-placed insiders rigged the 1964 Venice Biennale – the Olympics of art. The film highlights the crucial role of art in promoting cultural exchange and fostering the global community, as well as the soft power and impact of contemporary artists in driving and advocating for change.
