Grab your buckets and your snow shovels—it’s time to apply for Aspen’s best snow sculpture event! Carve an 8’ square foot cube of snow in 48 hours on the Aspen pedestrian mall as part of the larger Wintersköl™ festivities. Anderson Ranch Arts Center is seeking submissions from artists and amateurs, families and businesses, young and old. Everyone is invited to participate! It only takes a good idea, a love of snow, and a few pairs of mittens. Join in on the fun! Submit a team today!

Theme: The slogan for this year’s Wintersköl™ festival is “Together, We Move Mountains”. Wintersköl 2018 embraces the idea of being “Better Together,” a tribute to resort and community. Inspired by the Aspen Ski Company’s new marketing campaign “The Aspen Way,” sculptures must reflect upon and promote what Aspen values, principles, and ideas bring people together.
