Vocalist Nnenna Freelon and her Trio have toured world-wide on every continent. She is an impassioned and articulate supporter of jazz education and will share insights on the state of jazz globally, and how jazz has evolved through interaction with other music genres.
Nnenna Freelon has done extensive work for the last few decades on the positive effects of the human voice on child development and the positive effects of music on brain development. She will offer insights on both fronts in this Listen Up! Session.
