Grammy award-winning Sharon Isbin, “the pre-eminent guitarist of our time” (Boston Magazine) and the lustrous-voiced Isabel Leonard gave their first joint recital in 2014 in Harris Concert Hall. Since then, they have been frequent collaborators, working closely together to explore repertoire that fully utilizes the strengths of both guitar and voice. This program will draw on their CD Alma Espanola, the first all-Spanish art song recording in over 40 years. Program to include:
