SECOND ANNUAL FRIENDS AND FELLOWS RIDE
The Little Nell and Blackberry Farm have partnered once again to bring you the Second Annual Friends and Fellows Ride. Kick off Food & Wine Classic Weekend with us in Aspen for a road bike ride to Ashcroft Valley followed by lunch at The Nell prepared by the executive chefs from both properties to raise awareness for the Sam Beall Fellows Program. Late Blackberry Farm Proprietor Sam Beall was a passionate champion of the culinary arts, lending his support to rising vintners, chefs, producers and hospitality professionals. In honor of Sam’s legacy, this scholarship fund sponsors young professionals in pursuit of stages in world-renowned restaurants. The Little Nell and Blackberry Farm, two Relais & Châteaux resorts, value fine wine, haute cuisine, dedicated hospitality and the sport of cycling.

Venture on a scenic, bike ride from The Little Nell to Ashcroft Valley and back - 32 miles round trip - with fellow food, wine and cycling enthusiasts including former professional, Robbie Ventura. After the ride, sit down on the element 47 patio to enjoy a memorable lunch featuring a taste of Blackberry Farm's renowned Foothills Cuisine along with The Little Nell's signature Colorado contemporary flavors as The Little Nell's Executive Chef Matt Zubrod works together with The Barn at Blackberry Farm's Executive Chef Cassidee Dabney. Lunch will be paired with wine from European Cellars.

Bike ride details -
8 - 9 a.m. - Bike racks will be set up on the lower gondola plaza and registration will take place at Chair 9 at The Little Nell. Water, coffee, smoothies will be provided.
9 a.m.- Depart from the hotel, a Sag Wagon and mechanic will be provided for the ride.
Should riders wish to leave any belongings at the hotel during the ride, coat check will be available for this.
