Non-Juried Fiction Writers Workshop

Want to learn how to tell a good story? This course, led by Indiana University creative writing professor Samrat Upadhyay, is an excellent place to start. Over the span of five days you'll delve into some basic aspects of fiction–character, setting, scene, summary, and dialog–by studying them as well as writing them. You'll read and discuss samples from published writers for inspiration and to study their methods. Each day will be filled with in-class writing, sharing, conversations about craft, and plenty of good vibes.
