Leaves are changing colors, birds are starting to migrate, bears are eating every waking hour to prepare for the colder days... must be autumn in the mountains! Bring your kids to Hallam Lake and learn about nature's busy time during the fall months - learn how animals enjoy plentiful fruits of early fall as they get into the busy preparations for the winter slumber.
This weekly hour-long class will include fun educational activities with seasonal focus. Explore outside, sing songs, play games, create nature art, and acquire new tools and ideas that will further cultivate your child's and your own connection with nature.
We are running a similar parent & child series called Little Ranchers that is taking place at Rock Bottom Ranhc on Wednesdays, 10-11am from September 18 - November 20.
How To Get There:
Please walk, bike, bus, carpool, or ski to ACES sites whenever possible (yes, you really could cross country ski to ACES when there is enough snow). Parking at all sites is extremely limited and alternate transportation is fun and saves the planet!
