Join us at the top of Aspen Mountain at 1:15pm as we host an International Women's Day ski parade. The parade will start down Aspen Mountain and follow the ski trails Silver Bell to Spar Gulch to Little Nell and end at the bottom of the mountain.
Following the parade, head to Chair 9 for a panel discussion with Aspen Skiing Company and Ski industry representatives about Gender in the Ski Industry. Panel speakers include;
- Melanie Mills—President and CEO of Colorado Ski Country USA
- Kelly Pawlak—CEO of the National Ski Area Association
- Meegan Moszynski—Executive Director of the National Ski Patrol
- Katie Ertl—Senior Vice President of Mountain Operations for Aspen Skiing Company
After the speeches, at Chair 9 an International Women’s Day Après Party and gallery showing will take place with photos on display by local female photographers. A gallery showing with work from Aspen Skiing Company photographers, Ann Driggers, Anna Stonehouse, Tamara Susa and Jordan Curet will take place with a silent auction benefitting the Caring For Community fund.
